Leap Forward
Mark Armstrong, a retired teacher, will be making a prayer walk/pilgrimage from John O'Groats to Land's End in 2013.
He will walk through the Borders in June. He'll make time to stop and pray for the area, for our communities and our nation, in churches or pilgrimage places along the route.

The Peeblesshire Food Bank is now open!
It would b e delighted to accept gifts of any of the following food items:-
Milk (UHT or powdered); Fruit juice (carton); Pasta sauces; Tomatoes (tinned); Rice pudding (tinned); Instant mashed potato; Tinned meat/fish; Jam; Sugar (500g); Soup; Spong pudding (tinned); Cereals; Tea bags/instant coffee; Rice; pasta; Tinned fruit; Biscuits or snack bars
Gifts of food can be left in the box at the back of the church.

Used Postage Stamps
Fresh Appeal from The World Mission Council
The World Mission Council has made a fresh appeal for used postage stamps. The current project is for the Mount Olivet Boys' Home in rural Jamaica providing shelter for young boys who have ben abused. Please hand stamps to Bob Scott or Julia Stoddart.

Transport to Church Services
Car Pool
Currently there is a car pool for services in Innerleithen. Anyone who would like a lift to the Service on the first Sunday of the month in Innerleithen from other areas should contact John Taylor (Tel. 01896 830503) for a lift. Car drivers willing to help with this extended service would be most welcome - please advise John if you can help.
